This image below was forwarded to various countries who were in locations where future tunnel sites may be chosen to permit access to primary routes for a global network. It displays loading terminals for autos and trucks onto train cars who will ride the tunnels and is the first phase of the high speed system to be applied later.(cont.) |

INLINE LOADING--Unlike the image04 below the autos and trucks enter the railcars by means of tilting platforms to permit access and egress without altering the position of the railcars as shown above. Below in 04 the railcars rotate on a turntable. (cont.) |
TUNNEL CONNECTION FOR A GLOBAL DUAL MODE MAGLEV NETWORK-- Below is a map depicting the probable locations for our future needs. It locates about a dozen sites for international use. (oct 13 2005) Many others can be set up for national uses even if they are not for tunnel crossing. As gas prices climb,a new way to beat the gougers and future shortages is to permit long distance travel such as Boston to Chicago with several typical stations in between. since each railcar has its own power source they can easily be detatched for reloading and joining others later if needed to save more energy. The same could be applied to maglev trains such as Japans, Germany, China and others who will use maglev trains in the future. (Oct. 16,2005)Should we use the method as mentioned above for cross country travel at high speeds with auto on trains the people's choice rather than flying or driving will greatly change the oil industry's ability to control our dependency on oil and even decrease our need for it until we make the transition to EV's with a battery swap station infrastructure as shown in the previous web page ---http://trillions.topcities.com/o.html---.(cont.) |

TURNTABLE LOADING(cont.) |
Below, the left image shows the loading platform in Britain to ride the 'Chunnel' to France. The one on the right shows the interior of the railcar. It seems the volume of autos inserted per railcar is less than the concept shown in figs 02 and 04 above. (cont.) |

Having trains similar to the TGV ones in Europe would make traveling a desirable way over driving and thus permit that time used to sleep or work or just enjoying the scenery.(cont.) |
The image below which is also in 02 INLINE LOADING above has 4 cars in cross section mounted in railroad cars 18 meters (60 Ft)long. Like the mini cars ,6 can be in one line and thus 24 cars can ride one rail car(cont.) |

Above is an old "THE STREET RAG" article showing a small electric 'swap battery' car with overhead swing doors even permitting passenger access to them in close quarters and thus permitting narrower railcars accepting them. So even for shorter distances and with quick inexpensive loading stations every where travel(4 cents a mile)on board is still chaeper than driving at gas prices today. Using my dual mode maglev as soon as we get the foot draggers pushed aside(see index4) it will be even faster and cheaper yet. (cont.) |
