(IMAGE NO.20c) This ChrisCraft power boat can become one way of permitting launches for kite surfers without restrictions caused by unfavorable wind directions or refusal by local towns permitting take offs from their beaches. As we can see the rear of the boat has the means to permit adapting a launch platform onto its existing protrusion at the back. (cont)

(IMAGE NO.20d)KITE SURFING IS TAKING OFF! Surfboarders and windsurfers have now a new sport option. It's a kite that can tow them even into the air or anywhere on the water. (cont)

(IMAGE NO.20e)Here's a 22foot Chris Craft that can be, with a launch platform, used to for take-off regardless of wind direction(cont)

(IMAGE NO.20f) Like the platform above in Image 20e the platform is retractable when running the boat. Once stopped it can be extended for launching kite surfers. Parking and anchoring out from shore the boat will position itself downwind and thus be in a good position for lanching all kite surfers. once afloat he can travel for miles and when tired head for shore. he then packs every thing into a rollbag between his foot harnesses on the board, walks to the train station and rides back to the launch boat again for another blast off.(cont)

(IMAGE NO.20g)Here 's the kite surfer being readied for launch. Oddly enough this Chris Craft is the 'launch 22', after this maybe they'll rename 'launch pad 22'. One advantage to using a boat, the wind could blow from any direction . You drop anchor a few hundred feet from shore and you're off.(cont)

(IMAGE NO.20h)The image above shows part of New Jersey coast line where in this instance the boat is parked in Bay Head, N.J. In the sketch shown in inset at left the wind is blowing West by Northwest towards the beach . Regardless, the kitesurfer can head direct north and head to Asbury Park. There,he can ride the train back ,or take a bus, a taxi or hitch hike back.
